Kmart Doubles Are BAACCCKKK too!!!

The mommy blogiverse is buzzing with news of Kmart's double coupon event starting Sunday.  From what I've read they will only be doubling health and beauty coupons up to $2.00 (as always).


In my experience...
Tthey promote they'll only accept "health and beauty" coupons or only "P&G brandsaver" coupons, but they end up doubling any coupons.

Here's what I know for sure...
They stick to the max $2 limit
As last time, you must have a Shop Your Way rewards card, but you can sign up that day
There is a 5 coupons per customer limit but how that policy is enforced varies from store to store. Some will allow multiple transactions, others will not.

Walgreen's Freebie to be Announced on Oprah Today

Walgreen's posted yesterday on their Facebook page that they will be announcing a new freebie today on Oprah, but gave little more info.

I just saw a promo for Oprah's show today, which will feature Dr. Oz talking about heart disease and Oprah hinted at a "life-saving offer."

Baby Basics Diapers $2.99 at Shop N Save

This week Shop N Save has their store brand "Baby Basics" diapers on sale for $6.99.  There is a $4.00 off printable floating around the mommy blog world here (it will automatically start printing when you click, so have your printer ready).  With the coupon, the diapers would be only $2.99!

Here's the snag... Shop N Save's policy is to not accept internet coupons for more than 1/2 the price of the item.  So, you need to know your store.  Some of them don't make an issue over coupons, some do.  If you know yours does, check with friends to see if you can find a store that would accept it.

Editors note:  Everyone has to do what's right for them.  In my experience, what you save on generic diapers, you make up for in laundry detergent and stain treater because you're treating leaks and doing laundry more often.

St Louis Area Readers = $3 Huggies Coupon in Shop N Save Ad

There are a number of manufacturer coupons in both the Shop N Save and Dierbergs ads this week.  The best part is they don't have any exclusions (ie: redeemable only at Shop N Save) so you should be able to clip them and take them anywhere!

There is a $3/1 box of Huggies Diapers in the Shop N Save ad.  I recommend clipping it and taking it somewhere else because Shop N Save is one of the priciest for Huggies in the area.  The coupon is valid until March 7, 2010!
